In the connected log the Rangers managed to take down the kaiju along the coastal shelf, so no damage to the city itself would be done. Most of the destruction is in the form of corrosion and toxic kaiju blue effects. The cleanup crew is dispatched immediately, however any animal life in the area that has already come into contact with the kaiju blue will be dead or dying. Clean up involves not only containing and removing the toxic substance itself, but also the corpses of marine and avian life from the immediate area.
