That is all totally workable to me! It sounds like something I'd love to play, so it's perfect. OOCLY I would not want to limit to only male Drift Compatible candidates at all, but was unsure if that element of his character would ICly be considered too high-risk. Guy forms many of his deepest, most critical bonds and partnerships with women, and fights alongside them - in this case, it'll only be his insecurities, and lack of knowledge, that make him doubt he's able to be Drift Compatible with a woman in this AU! Guy working through the process of professional help and guidance for his PTSD and the character arc that will result sounds amaaaazing, and sounds like a perfect AU equivalent of what happens in canon.
