Yuri had never been much of a student; academics had just plain never interested him, and he thought his chances of going to any kind of college were pretty damn slim, so he hadn't really bothered. But he did read all that recruitment pamphlets and, when he joined, the assorted hand books. He liked to know the rhetoric, and to see how the PPDC measured up to its own standards.
