Standing off to the side of the pool is a taller man, posture straight like every other instructor in the room and his hair cut in the exact same way. His arms are crossed over his chest and he's just down into a pair of swimming trunks, he's fully expecting someone to need a hand and he's not about to get his uniform wet if he can help it.
However unlike everyone else he's not quick to jump into the pool, and is instead just watching everyone with a critical eye while trying to look friendly. Which is difficult enough and probably utterly fails to anyone who can be bothered to look at him long enough, though Jacob is hoping no one really is.
